On the first day of each week we take up the offering from the saints, as commanded and exampled by the New Testament Christians in I Corinthians 16:1-2

However, we recognize that many people use electronic payment systems to pay their bills and no longer carry cash or use checks.

As a matter of expediency, we are providing a way to make it easier for those who are members of the Johnson Avenue church to set aside and give each first day of the week.

This works well for those who forget their checkbooks on occasion or for those who prefer an online payment option.

Contributions can be made fast and easily. You can link a bank account or debit/credit card, and the withdrawal takes places when you choose. You can choose to make a one-time payment or set up automatic payments if desired.  A receipt is emailed to you after your contribution.  In addition, there is a history saved in the app that helps you track your contributions. There is no cost to you to use this service.

1. Download the mobile app "Vanco" or “GivePlus” from your app store. Apple and Google Play Stores may vary on the above.
2. Find the church— “Johnson Avenue Church of Christ”.  (Avenue needs to be spelled out.)
3. Select "Johnson Avenue Church of Christ" from the search results.
4. Create an account and follow instructions.
